Here is another group of my Tech Club swappers cards. This theme was simply to use a previously Un-inked (Un-loved) stamp set. The intention was to use one of those stamp sets that we purchased, but haven't used yet. I really don't have any of those though, so I kind of cheated and used the Blended Bloom stamp set, un-inked but totally new!

Fabulous Blended Bloom
Here are my first cards using the new stamp set Blended Bloom and also my first time coloring with Blendabilities, the new alcohol based markers offered by Stampin' Up! I found coloring with these markers very easy, they are quite juicy and lay down color so smoothly. I have some learning to do as far as shading and general light/shadow coloring, but I really enjoyed coloring these, and I had A LOT of flowers to color as I used these for a swap.
I combined these flowers with a sentiment from Million & One stamp set because I just love it's beautiful scrolling script. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the flower centers and a decorative edge from the Finishing Touches Edgelit along with a few scattered Jewel Rhinestones.
Recipe:
Stamps: Million & One, Blended Bloom
Cardstock: So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Memento Black, Blendabilities Markers
Accessories: Finishing Touches Edgelit, Dazzling Diamonds Ultrafine Glitter, Jewel Rhinestones

Mojo Monday with Flamingo Lingo
Happy Monday! I was so happy to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge this morning. I used a new Stampin' Up! set call Flamingo Lingo, so fun and bright! The Flamingo Lingo stamp set is the You Can Make a Difference Stamp Set. Buy the Flamingo Lingo Stamp Set and Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Through the Ronald McDonald House program, RMHC keeps families together and helps children heal.
The layout for this card is Sketch 349 from Mojo Monday. Starting from a sketch layout helps me get started on a new card. The flamingo image lends itself to bright colors and I used Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry here. I stamped the flamingo in Melon Mambo ink and then Heat Embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. The card base is So Saffron, but the stamped flowers and sentiment are in Crushed Curry ink and I used Crushed Curry Baker's Twine, too.
Recipe:
Stamps: Flamingo Lingo, Four You
Cardstock: So Saffron, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry
Accessories: Stylish Stripes TIEF, Clear Embossing Folder, Petite Petals Punch, Crushed Curry Baker's Twine, Jewel Pearls

Tech Club Swaps - One Layer Cards
Here are the May Swap Cards from my Tech Club swappers. Our theme was One Layer cards and I love the creativity these ladies used on their cards! Sponging, Masking and Heat Embossing created beautiful faux layers on all these cards. I think this is one of the most beautiful sets all years.
