This edition of the
Stamp Review Crew features the
Oh Hello stamp set with it's lovely fonts, beautiful flower and trendy chevrons. I always love playing with this stamp set and it is another example of a versatile set with images and sentiments for a variety of occasions and a variety of styles.
My first card is a vintage style card in
Rich Razzleberry,
Early Espresso and
Very Vanilla with just a few touches of
Gold. I used
Rich Razzleberry and
Old Olive markers to color the flower image, which is spritzed with water before I stamped it onto the
Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I added some stamped off images of the chevron pieces and the chevron patterned oval. I added some sponging around the flower and along the edges. For the bit of gold, I inked the
En Francais background stamp in
Gold Encore ink and stamped it over the entire piece. Finally, I covered the flower and stem in a thin layer of
Dazzling Details to make it pop and give it some sparkle.
I embossed and die cut the
Rich Razzleberry strip - I just love the
Big Shot! The flower embellishment is a piece of
Vellum that I sponged heavily and then punched with the
Pansy Punch. I added some score lines for the flower center and to give it some dimension. My favorite part of this card though is the
Gold Baker's Twine!

My second card is stamped in a much cleaner and crisper style. I stamped the
Thanks sentiment in
Basic Black Craft ink at the center point of the
Whisper White cardstock strip. This is
Heat Embossed with
Clear Embossing Powder. Then I stamped the chevron image on either side of the sentiment in
Bermuda Bay ink. A mat of
Coastal Cabana sets this off the
Basic Black background. I added a wrap of
Coastal Cabana Ruffled Trim and a layer of
Silver 1/8" Ribbon over this, across the bottom. Finally, I added a few
Mini Silver Brads across the top. This is such a quick and easy card!

Off the Grid {sob!} stamp set from Stampin Up! is on the Retirement List and I couldn't be more sad to see it go! This gorgeous stamp adds such a beautiful little 'extra' to almost every card or project. 
Here is a a very simple card I made recently using another retiring stamp set Oh, Hello. And only one layer! The gold embossed Off the Grid finishes this card with a touch of whimsical elegance that just makes me happy! The other stamp set on this card - Oh, Hello - is on the retirement list as well! I can't even tell you how much I am mourning the Off the Grid stamp set already! And it's not even gone yet! 
But these retiring items will be gone soon, and as you may have noticed, the stamp sets are selling out this year. There are already several stamp set and accessories that are no longer available. If you have some items on your wish list that are also on the Retirement List, be sure to place your order sooner rather than later!
