This edition of the Stamp Review Crew features Hello Lovely stamp set, one that that is available in both Rubber and Digital versions. Hello Lovely includes several flourish and tile images as well as some beautiful sentiments, including its namesake Hello Lovely, Thank you, you're the best and You Make Me Happy, which is one of my favorites.
I spent some time playing with the Digital Hello Lovely stamp set in My Digital Studio, MDS. I am excited to share this project with you because one of the reasons I love using MDS and the digital stamps from Stampin' Up! is the ability to Repeat and to Re-size! I made both the calendars below using Hello Lovely and the Calendar function of MDS.
First, create a pretty package! Using MDS and Hello Lovely is a quick and easy way to dress up our Tag A Bag Chevron printed gift bags. This was something I put together as I walked out the door to meet a friend. I printed the Thank you image onto the bag by taping it to a piece of cardstock and running it through my ink jet printer. I used cardstock as the base, instead of paper, because I also printed the tag at the same time. Punch, Punch. Tie, Tie. Done!
I have the Stampin' Up! Landscape Calendar Jewel Case (available in the 2012 Holiday Catalog) with outdated 2013 calendar cards. So my first calendar project was to build a project custom sized to fit my jewel case. After laying out the first card (January), I "duplicated" that page 11 more times and easily changed the calendar month and adjusted the stamp images and placement. Love it! I used the flourish image enlarged and some of the same calendar elements to create the cover background. Here are pictures of the first few months, the remaining months are a variation of these. I printed these onto cardstock and trimmed them to fit the jewel case.
I uploaded the Jewel Case Calendar to my Google Drive, hopefully you can download the folders.
After creating my 2014 Jewel Case Calendar, it was really easy to change the size and orientation of the same project to create these Calendar Cards. I adjusted the elements to fit the vertical orientation for this Bound Calendar.
When I was happy with the first card, January, it was SO EASY to duplicate the page 11 times to create the remaining months. Again, I used an enlarged flourish to create a cover. I also used this repeatedly to create a background paper for the backside of the calendar cards. Again I printed the cards onto cardstock and this time I bound them along the top to create a Bound Calendar Booklet.

Oh wow, Mary! These are fabulous. I LOVE that calendar!
Great calendar! I love what you did with the digital stamps!
What a neat trick to tape the bag to card stock to print on it! The calendars colors are so rich-- love the super-sized stamp image.
Super ideas! I love the calendar ideas. I have an empty case and might have to try this!
LOVE your calendars. I really need to learn to use MDS. These are fantastic!
Very clever of you to print directly on the bag! Your calendars are lovely, and the spiral bound one is particularly attractive. I'm pinning this for a possible class idea. :)
Oh wow, Mary - the calendars are fabulous! What a great idea (besides the fact that they are LOVELY). Thanks for the inspiration!
Very clever to print right on the bag. And those calendars are fabulous! Great job showing how versatile this set is in MDS.
