I did a little Scrapbooking this weekend and one of the pictures I have is this candid shot of my daughter on her way to school. She was dressed in camouflage for a Homecoming Week 'Camo' day last fall. She is 16 and so happy, life truly is good for her, and this makes me so happy knowing her inner confidence and joy.
I found the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set is just perfect for adding some texture to your pages. I Heat Embossed all the stamped images with Clear Embossing Powder for some shine, too. I love how the striped image grounds the single photo on this layout.
Here's a card using the same elements and same colors as the scrapbook page. I Heat Embossed these images with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for even more sparkle.

Fantastic layout and your daughter is lovely!
I LOVE your scrapbook page! What a cool layout. The card is great too! I really like the embossing you did. That extra step really makes everything shine!
Your daughter is beautiful. What a great scrapbook page! Gorgeous grunge looks great on it.
Both projects are lovely. Your daughter's smile is highlighted perfectly on your page, it's awesome!
What a darling page and striking layout! Fun!!
Great job with this stamp set. I love how you made it look like someone had splattered paint diagonally across the page. I need to get into that reckless mode. It creates such amazing results!
Oh my, your daughter is a beauty! I am glad she is a happy young lady :) It's tough being a teenage girl....
I love the way you used the stamps on your page, they create the perfect mood for the page and really let your lovely daughter take center stage.
The card is equally lovely, but who can compete with such a happy face :)
Fabulous card and page! Both turned out beautiful. And your daughter looks so happy that morning!

I love your scrapbook page! Could you come do mine? Enough said!
A beautiful page starts with a beauty in the photo!
I love your details and the embossing makes everything pop. Your terrific projects are fresh and unique. The detail I love is the way you knotted the twine.
What a fun memory and a fun page! I love how you created a "coordinating" card too.
Love, love that scrapbook page. It's clear to see that your daughter gets her good looks from you. So many great details to love on there.
I just love our grunge stamps - and the others from a few other stamp sets....your pages of/for your daughter are wonderful...love the card as well. Embossing makes everything stand out and look special!
This is fantastic! Love the grunge for a fun scrapbook page! And so many great details!
Mary, your scrapbook page is awesome. Yes, the Gorgeous Grunge elements accent the page perfectly - especially under the photo. Love all of the elements.
Both of your projects are so colorful and fun. The scrapbook page of your daughter really showcases her personality and that great smile!
As someone who is not good at scrapbooking, I'm in awe of your page! It is amazing!!!
