Festive Flurry - more Christmas Cards
More Christmas cards from me and I still need to get them mailed! Yikes! I used the cardabilities sketch again this week for this card using the Festive Flurry stamps and Framelit. The sentiment is from the Warmth & Wonder stamp set, both of these are in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. Again, I stayed fairly true to the sketch, which makes for such a quick card. Sketches are my favorites!
This beautiful pattern paper from the Winter Frost Specialty DSP set the color scheme for my card. I love the twinkling lights background paper from this package, with the Smoky Slate and Whisper White colors. I needed another color for this card, which is the Island Indigo in another piece of pattern paper from this same package. I stamped one of the snowflakes from Festive Flurry in Whisper White Craft Ink onto Smoky Slate cardstock. Then I Heat Embossed this with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for just a touch of shimmer. I die cut this satmped snowflake with the matching snowflake from the Festive Flurry Framelits. This is layered over a Whisper White snowflake, using the largest Festive Flurry Framelit. The little arrows are one of the accessories from the Circle Thinlits Card Die and I added some lines of sparkle with Dazzling Details. To finish off the card, I used one of the Frosted Finishes Embellishments layered over a circle of Island Indigo. And of course, added a Rhinestone Jewel to the snowflake center.
