Beveled Window Panes Coloring Technique - Field Flowers

Here is one of the cards my Technique Club made this month. Does this Field Flowers card look familiar? It's a close CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) of one of the cards on the cover of the current Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. I changed it only slightly, and made mine into a card, instead of the Matchbook Holder featured, and added a Beveled Window Pane instead of the stamped Twill Tape.

The Beveled Window Pane is stained by pouncing a cotton ball soaked with Rubbing Alcohol and Soft Suede Reinker. This adds a lot of dimension and interest to the Beveled Window Pane. I heat set mine with the Heat Gun, but do this very carefully as it is really easy to start melting the Window Pane!

Here's a closer look, the 'with Love' sentiment is stamped on a separate piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and placed behind the Beveled Window Pane, with the Crumb Cake Seam Binding wrapped behind and knotted above.

I love the details you always put in your cards. The shadowing and the Dazzlin Diamonds. Really makes it pop. Very nice.
