Here is one of the cards we created at my October Christmas Card class. This sweet Santa and cute little tree is from the Jolliest Time of the Year stamp set from Stampin' Up! The Christmas Card class is offered each month in September, October and November and is a great way to stamp several Christmas cards before the holiday season gets too hectic. We make 4 cards each of three different designs each month, so that by Thanksgiving, you have 36 cards ready to be addressed and mailed! It's not too late to join, though, and I'd love to see you in November!
For this Santa card, we stamped images of the Santa and the tree in Jet Black StazOn ink and then colored with a variety of Markers and a Blender Pen. These are punched out with the 1 1/4" Square Punch in a variety of angles and then adhered to mats punch with the 1 3/8" Square Punch. The So Saffron mat is embossed with the Snow Swirled Embossing Folder in the Big Shot. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, Jolliest Time of the Year.
The final touch is added with Dazzling Details to the ornaments and the fur ruff on the Santa's. This is easy to add to small areas like this, with the narrow tip of the applicator bottle. The only thing you need to remember, is to allow the Dazzling Details to dry completely before you stack up your cards.
