Paper Rose with the Flower Punch

I made a set of custom cards for a customer last week and then tied off the package of cards with this Paper Rose Gift Tag. These Paper Roses are made with three punched flowers from the Stampin' Up! Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch that is featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.



I first saw these Paper Roses on Julie Williams' blog. She has a detailed tutorial, too. We'll be making some of these beautiful roses at an upcoming April Showers bring May Flowers Gift Class - can't wait to share the details with you!

Clean & Simple Razzleberry - Awash with Flowers

Here is another card using the Awash with Flowers stamp set - a sneak peek set from the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog debuting in July. I also used the Scallop Trim Border Punch, which is one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration items you can choose with your qualifying SAB Order.

I made several of these Thinking of You cards and I do love Rich Razzleberry! After making several, I added some Crushed Curry small flowers which I loved- that extra pop of color really finished off the card. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of that card before I sent it off this weekend.

I stamped the flowers image from Happy Moments randomly over my Whisper White cardstock. Then I colored the flowers with my markers and used a Ticket Corner Punch on all four corners. The sentiment is from Define Your Life - I just love this stamp set! I used the Scallop Trim Punch both inside and outside the card - love that little bit of the card front carried through to the inside.

Color Challenge - Bella's Blossoms

This is a card I made for the Stampin Addict Color and Sketch Challenges. I used some Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog products and the beautiful Sale-A-Bration exclusive Whimsical Words, as well as another Sale-A-Bration option Bella's Blossom.

I can't stop using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impression Folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog! I used it here on the Pretty in Pink layer. I stamped the sentiment, from the SAB exclusive stamp set Whimsical Words, in Chocolate Chip ink onto the Whisper White strip. Then I stamped flowers and blooms from Bella's Blooms stamp set in Pretty in Pink and So Saffron inks. This stamp set is just one of the many optional sets you can earn for FREE this month. The swirls peeking out from behind the Chocolate Chip mats are from the Bigz Tulipe Die for the Big Shot. Then I wrapped a knot of the Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon with a tag from Tiny Tags and the Jewelry Tag Punch. All of these are from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

WaterColor Wonder Crayons

WaterColor Wonder Crayons by Stampin' Up! are one of my favorite products to color my stamped images and also to use at a stamping medium. Sale-A-Bration - Out of the Box

How about this sweet card for a new baby? I used the Stampin' Up! Level I Hostess Set Out of the Box. I also used the PERFECT Textured Impressions Folder - I mean Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder! from the Ocasions Mini Catalog. I just love that folder - it is always just the right touch! And the small wonder sentiment is an exclusive Sale-A-Braiton set called Whimsical Words.

I stamped the elephant 4 times in different inks and then added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the flowers on his ears, punched him with my 1 1/4" Circle Punch and mounted him onto Gable Green 1 3/8" Circle Mats. I stamped the 'small wonder' sentiment onto the front of my Whisper White panel and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder. A Ticket Corner Punch to finish off the corners and a quick and sweet card is done!

Stampin' Addicts Swag! - Build A Bear

Whoot! Whoot! I'm a winner at Stampin'Addicts! This fabulous Build-A-Bear Teddy Bear from the 2009 Stampin' Up! Convention found a very good home. Teddy came with an official birth certificate and the official Stampin' Up! "Life Without Stamps...UNBEARABLE" stamp. How cute is he?! I was so excited when I heard I won, and even more when he showed up on my doorstep! Now, I just need to figure out what the name of this new youngin' is! Any ideas?!

Black & White Thank You

This card is a CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) from a beautiful black and white non-Stampin' Up! card I saw. I use some Stampin' Up! retired paper and the new Vintage Vogue set from the current Occasions Mini Catalog, and a sentiment from Kind & Caring Thoughts, a Hostess Level II stamp set. That gorgeous ribbon is the Basic Black Satin Ribbon, also in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I added three half-back pearls, adhered with Mini Glue Dots, from the Pretties Kit to finish it off.

Vintage Vogue - Bold Friends

Here is a really quick card using the Stampin' Up! set Vintage Vogue from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This is the set that demonstrators received when they attended one of Stampin' Up! Regional events. I like the bold colors on this card and using this vintagey set in a non-vintage way.

Color Challenge - Go Green

Here is a card I made for the Stampin' Addicts Color Challenge 45 this week - Glorious Green, Green Galore, Bermuda Bay, Metallic Gold - what a toughie! Of course, with these colors I had to use my Stampin' Up! Go Green stamp! I love these a la carte sets - individual stamps for under $10 each- and Go Green is a fun one from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I punched out 4 Full Hearts from Glorious Green cardstock, then I ran them through the Big Shot with the Finial Press Textured Impressions Folder to add some detail. I sponged the edges with a Sponge Dauber and Glorious Green ink. I also used one of the stamps from Kind & Caring Thoughts to background stamp - I thought it looked clover-ish.

The lucky sentiment is from Define Your Life - this is a stamp set that I use so often!

Haitian Relief - Update

Once again, Stampin′ Up! demonstrators and customers have shown what Stampin′ Up! is all about by making a difference in the lives of others. Worldwide, demonstrators sold 13,587 of the I {heart} Hearts Stamp sets that were set aside for Haitian relief. From each of those sales, Stampin′ Up! will donate $2 to the Red Cross’ American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. That’s over $27,000 donated to people who desperately need your help. Congratulations!

SHOOT - Scrapbook Page

Here is a scrapbook page I made last night using some of the pattern paper from the Sweet Pea Paper Stack in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. I cut one of the large print patterns in half at 6" and then trimmed 1/2" off the bottom so that it would mat onto my Taken with Teal cardstock page. A narrow strip of Dusty Durango cardstock covers that seam. I cut the title SHOOT letters out of another pattern from the Sweet Pea Paper Stack with the Serif Essentials die for the Big Shot. I outlined them with my Signo White Gel Pen, too.

Challenges - Happy Moments

At the Stampin' Addicts website, there are daily Stampin' Challenges where I like to get Stampin' Inspiration and ideas. These two cards are from the SA Color Challenge 44 last week - Dusty Durango, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Taken with Teal. I used my new Stampin' Up! 2 Step Bird Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog for one card and the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration exclusive Happy Moments stamp set for the other.

The 2 Step Bird Punch punches out three pieces - the leafy branch, the bird body and the bird wing. I used some of the Sweet Pea Paper Stack for the background of this card. Then I punched my bird from Taken with Teal cardstock and sponged the edges of all the pieces. The wing is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The branch is punched from Old Olive cardstock. I added a little sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes to the bottom of the main panel. I love that stamp set - it has a sentiment for nearly any occasion!

This card uses the same Color Combination and also the Sketch Challenge 43 from Stampin' Addicts. I ran the Chocolate Chip cardstock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Texture Impressions Folder to create that background panel. Then I stamped two of the birthday images from Happy Moments stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I colored these with markers and matted them on Old Olive and Taken with Teal cardstock. These are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Nouveau Chic - Thank You

I stamped up this card last week, using up some of my pieces of the Nouveau Chic Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! I love the cool tones of this paper and had a lot of fun adding accessories to these squares.

I punched 1 1/4" Squares from different patterns of the Nouveau Chic DSP and also Scallop Punched a piece of the darker pattern paper from this pack. The Scallop piece is layered behind the top left square. I cut a thin strip of Very Vanilla cardstock and knotted it through a button for the top right square. I also stamped the sentiment 'for you' in Basic Gray ink over this piece of DSP. I tied a knot in a scrap of Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and wrapped that around the lower left square. Finally, I stamped the silhouette flower image from Kind Thoughts, a Hostess Level III stamp set, in More Mustard ink onto a piece of More Mustard cardstock. This piece is layered under a Very Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware frame and secured with Very Vanilla Brads from the same kit.
