Here's another card I made using a sketch, this one is from Stampin' Addicts weekly Sketch Challenge. I cut into my first piece of Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. This enormous pad of paper has so many beautiful designs and I just love the colors, but I haven't cut a piece of it - before tonight.
For this card I used my markers to ink upthe Friends image from Vintage Vogue, in So Saffron and Rose Red. Then I covered the entire Whisper White panel with VersaMark ink. Then I sprinkled Heat & Stick Powder over it and heated it with my Heat Gun to melt. I covered that sticky layer with Dazzling Diamonds Ultra Fine Glitter and then hit it with the Heat Gun one more time to seal the glue.
I added a tab of Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon to this piece and layered it onto a large square of this butterfly print from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Pad. I stamped the Celebrate You sentiment from Birthday Bliss onto the designer series paper in Rose Red ink. This layer is matted on Pumpkin Pie over the Rose Red card base.
