This is one of my favorite Stampin' Up! stamp sets Time Well Spent - I was so happy to see it carry over from the last mini catalo into the new Idea Book & Catalog.
However, this card is a re-do and I'm still not sure I'm happy with it. I had all these pieces stamped and punched from a mini catalog swap last spring. I sketched out my card and did a prototype. I stamped everything and punched the strips and adhered my mats and even masked off the sentiment set several times to stamp Live for Today on the Lavender Lace strip. Then I decided I didn't care for the card.
So I abandoned the pieces in a UFO box (UnFinished Objects) and pushed it around my stamping space. This summer I looked at the pieces again as I packed for our move from Minnesota to Colorado. Later this summer I looked at them AGAIN when I unpacked my stamping supplies. This time, I threw it in an even larger box (okay, a TOTE that won't even let me close the lid) of UFO's. For some reason, it surfaced this week and I decided I better do something with all the lovely clocks stamped and grommeted.
So here is my card - the Time Well Spent clock and its beautiful sentiment - mounted on a Lovely Lilac card base. The Jumbo White Grommet punched through the clock face on the left side. The Organdy Ribbon knotted in a bow and pushed through the grommet. The Eyelet Punch and Sage Shadow. The masked off sentiment line on the front with the complete sentiment on the inside.

Well, I think the "time was right" to retrieve these pieces from the UFO box! lol! I LOVE this card - so elegant in every way!
